Other Notes of Interest:
This Corvette was purchased by the father of the current owner in Nevada and subsequently registered in Massachusetts June 1, 1973. By the end of 1975 the owner moved back to Nevada and registered there on December 18, 1975. Around 2000 the owner began to purchase parts for a restoration which he then began. Registration was continually renewed until the owners death in 2011. At that time the vehicle was moved to New Mexico and put in storage while awaiting probate. Eventually, the daughter of the deceased took possession and had the vehicle and a large inventory of parts transported to Massachusetts in 2014 where it was titled but not registered and only driven locally a couple of times.
Now his daughter needs to find a new home with someone who is interested in a very original 1963 Corvette Split Window Coupe. This vehicle runs, drives, and stops well. However, due to the decade of storage it does need some routine work to make it a reliable driver once again. It also could use a fresh coat of paint since the time spent in the constant sun and heat of Nevada and New Mexico has caused some paint peeling. The body is all original white press-molded fiberglass with no signs of problems coming through the paint.Because of the need for fresh paint, the vehicle is being priced at $20K below current market value. Included with the vehicle is a collection of original parts the had been replaced, some of which are 1963 only. New Corvette Parts listed below will be included if not sold separately.
